Like countless others, in March of 2020 I found myself out of work.  My wife Lisa had been a stay-at-home mom and was taking care of our daughter Sadie who was about 15 months old at the time.  We traded places, she went to work and I stayed home to care for our daughter.

Fastforward to 2025.  With our daughter in school it was time for me to get back to work.  But rather than work for "the man", helping him build his business, I decided I would work for myself and build my own.  But because I had been out of the trades for 5 years a C-6 Finish Carpentry Contractor's license was not possible, despite being experienced and very well qualified for this type of work.  That's why I established Pelican Handyman Services.

With that in mind, Pelican Handyman Services offers minor repairs, painting, custom woodworking, finish carpentry as well as lawn and yard maintenance.

I live in San Mateo with my wife Lisa and my daughter Sadie.  When not working or spending time with my family you'll find me playing baseball/hardball on Sundays at any of the baseball fields around the SF Bay Area.  If you must know I'm a lefty pitcher and I play 1st base.  ;-)
